Founded in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. Youngs, as Coast. 1976 as Son of a Bitch. 1979 as SAXON. Raised up and was the foundator of the New Wave of the British Heavy Metal, with their only opponent, Iron Maiden (which singer slandered Saxon...). They released 732 songs (and some will be released on posthume if I understood well). Disco, rock, hard rock and (hard heavy) metal, they are seen as Gods on stage at Wacken Open Air (Germany) ["the ebst fucking metal festival in the wooorld"], the greatest Open Air Concert place. Just see their official site to get more, I am their (biggest?) fan, and I think no one will be able to do as them, after more than 30 years of music and on again, which is well better than 2 albums non written and some ballets in the back, the one who worth 50cents, within the holes of ballets or not?
